Egg case released from the ventral pedal gland; stalk straightens and supports the egg case from the ground. After 10 days, the stomodeal invagination is evident. After 12 days, the protoconch and operculum, both of conchiolin, are discernible. Torsion is complete after 14 days. By the 16th day, velar lobes formed and grows in size. On the 20th day, embryos are freely moving inside. Larvae emerge from the case by the 27th day.
