Depth based from holotype (Ref. 1134); to be replaced with a better reference. Attached to hard substrata; in shallow water (Ref. 1603). Found in crevices and on the leeward side if rocks that are exposed in waves (Ref. 125338).

Members of the class Ascidiacea are hermaphroditic; both cross- and self-fertilization is typical. Life cycle: Eggs develop into lecithotrophic larva before metamorphosing into benthic adults.
