Maximum depth from Ref. 109264. This species is found in offshore and intertidal cienaga facies and coral reefs, particularly on rocky and sandy habitats (Ref. 83934). Also on seagrass. Detritivore (Ref. 109264).

Members of the order Neotaenioglossa are mostly gonochoric and broadcast spawners. Life cycle: Embryos develop into planktonic trocophore larvae and later into juvenile veligers before becoming fully grown adults.
