Short description Morphology

Trunk compact, unsegmented; lateral processes touching along most of their length, with small dorsodistal tubercles having setae. Ocular tubercle short, not taller than wide, with tiny apical cone; eyes large, well pigmented. Proboscis short, cylindrical. Abdomen longer than ocular tubercle, erect, with several distal setae. Chelifores robust, with few setae; chelae globular; finger short, without teeth. Palps represented by broad buds laterally on neck. Ovigers short; secone. Segment almost as long as third; 2 terminal segments with few setae. Legs short, robust, with few scattered setae; dorsodistal spines not as long as segment diameter; cement gland tube a curved cup near proximal end of femur; propodus large, well curved, with 2 major heel spines, 4 heel setae, and long lamina on most of sole length; claw large, well curved; auxiliaries absent (Ref. 2115, p. 56).
