Short description Morphology

Shell small, subquadrate with moderately long ligament, slightly developed to undeveloped posterior auricle. Absence of hinge teeth. Pale to transparent non-nacreous margin with dark brown or black blotches. Color: Green, yellow, brown, or partially continuous white blotches.
