Short description Morphology

It has a 32-36% pigment coloration. Its stripes begins at the venter and curves around in an arc pointing toward the aperture and it intersects with the umbilical region. There is a faint, growth-line sized pattern of annual rings similar in scale and morphology to that found in Nautilus belauensis, but far less marked. It's the only Nautilus species with m this color pattern, with multiple, branching stripes that have a rearward projection after descending from venter.
