| Diagnosis | Trunk segments 3 to 12 nearly uniform in width with only slight tapering. Lateral terminal spines: long, 136 to 196 um, 17.4 to 32.5% of trunk length, slightly bent outward about one-fourth distance from base. Cuticular ridges: present on either side of dorsal midline of first trunk segment and near ventrolateral margins of segments 4 to 12, reaching greatest prominence on segment 12. Males have adhesive tubes on sternal plates of segment 4, 2 pairs of penile spines at anterolateral margins of terminal sternal plates, and slightly longer lateral terminal spines (Ref. 1409). |
