Definition of Term

sea channel
(English) A long, narrow, U-shaped or V-shaped shallow depression of the sea floor, usually occurring on a gently sloping plain or fan. (See also: sea floor)
vallée sous-marine
(French) Dépression peu profonde, longue, étroite, en forme de U ou V du fond de mer, se produit souvent sur une plaine descendante en pente douce. (See also: sea floor)
canal marinho
