Collected from the sublittoral zone, from low tide up to a depth of 200 m. On rock exposed by the low tide (Ref. 417). Collected from the supralittoral and mediolittoral or intertidal zones (Ref. 2754). Occurs at the low tide mark.

Members of the order Patellogastropoda are mostly gonochoric and broadcast spawners. Life cycle: Embryos develop into planktonic trocophore larvae and later into juvenile veligers before becoming fully grown adults.
