Depth based on occurrence (Ref. 2851, p. 719); to be replaced with better reference. Inhabits sandy areas from the low tide mark to several hundred meters of depth. Commonly found in tidal swimming pools with a sandy bottom. Occurs at the low tide mark (Ref. 866). It is a carnivorous species (Ref. 96498).
