Maximum depth from Ref. 109264. This species is found on offshore coral reefs and cienaga facies, particularly on coral, rock and sand habitats (Ref. 83934). Also on seagrass (Ref. 109264).

Members of the order Neotaenioglossa are mostly gonochoric and broadcast spawners. Life cycle: Embryos develop into planktonic trocophore larvae and later into juvenile veligers before becoming fully grown adults.
