Distribution:  Atlantic Ocean and Eastern Pacific.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Assumed maximum length from Ref. 844. Common, on rocky bottoms from the intertidal zone to a depth of 18 m (Ref. 867). A voracious carnivore, feeding on other opisthobranchs (Refs. 822, 867).
