Distribution:  Indo-Pacific, Western Atlantic, Antarctic and the Mediterranean Sea. Temperate and subtropical.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Minimum depth from Ref. 116066. Epibenthic, encrusting (Ref. 116066). In Belize, it was found in a submarine cave near Columbus Cay (Ref. 87209).
