Environment:  benthic; marine
Distribution:  Pacific Ocean: from the Philippines to Hawaii and eastern Polynesia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs at the low tide mark (Ref. 348). Also at shallow lagoons, among rubble, sand, and fringing reef.
