Max. size:  9 cm SHL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthic; marine
Distribution:  Indo-Pacific: East Africa, Southeast and Northeast Asia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Collected for food by coastal populations (Ref. 349). Inhabits shallow subtidal zones (Ref. 349). On intertidal rocks facing the ocean (Ref. 799).
