Distribution:  Western Atlantic.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Maximum depth from Ref. 109264. This species is found in subtidal, intertidal, and offshore cienaga facies, coral reefs, reef lagoons, and mangroves, particularly on algae, boulder, coral, rocky, sand, sand seagrass habitats (Ref. 83934).
