Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 0 - 33 m
Distribution:  Indo-Pacific: South Africa to Japan, Australia and Ecuador.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Minimum depth from Ref. 96667. Found on living heads of branching corals in the shallow subtidal to a depth of 33 m (Ref. 69553).
