Environment:  sessile; marine; depth range 0 - 600 m
Distribution:  Pacific Ocean, Northeast Atlantic and the Arctic. temperate, boreal.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Up to 2.6 cm in diameter and 3 cm in height (Ref. 1603). Attached to hard substrata; from shallow water down to at least 600 m (Ref. 1603).
