Max. size:  11.5 cm SHH (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 0 - 50 m
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: from Indonesia to the Philippines; north to Japan and south to northern Queensland.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Attached to rocks, dead corals or shell debris, from lower intertidal zones to a depth of about 50 m (Ref. 348). Reported from Hong Kong to be found on the ceilings and walls of submarine caves (Ref. 126058).
