Distribution:  Southwest Pacific: New Zealand.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Shallow water species (Ref. 121758). Lives in exposed sandy beaches (Ref. 121761) and sandy subtidal surf zone just offshore (Ref. 121759). Found in inshore and offshore waters (Ref. 121762).
