Environment:  benthic; marine
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: from the west coast of Thailand to the Philippines; north to Japan and south to Indonesia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occasionally collected for food by coastal populations in the Southeast Asian region (Ref. 349). A fouling species attached to raft frames in mariculture zones (Ref. 127121).
