Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 2 - 100 m
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: Australia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  One of the largest cuttlefishes (Ref. 3722). Minimum depth from Ref. 116336. Also found in open trawl grounds (Ref. 275). Epibenthic (Ref. 116259).
