Distribution:  Northeast Atlantic, Antarctic and the Mediterranean Sea: Crozet Island, Germany and UK. Temperate and subtropical.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Depth range from Isles of Scilly record (Ref. 1442); to be replaced with a better reference. Found on Laminaria sp. holdfast and rocks (Ref. 1442). This is a suspension feeder (Ref. 3477).
