Family:  Majidae (spider crabs)
Max. size:  6 cm CW (male/unsexed)
Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 0 - 40 m
Distribution:  Indo-Pacific, eastwards to Hawaii.
Diagnosis:  Carapace pear-shaped, with 2 pronounced rostral horns. Color: brown overall.
Biology:  Minimum depth from Ref. 96667. Benthic. Occurs from intertidal areas to a depth of 40 m (Ref. 343). Subtidal (Ref. 106854). Found on rocks, especially near reefs (Ref. 343).
