Distribution:  Northern Atlantic, Northern Pacific and the Arctic. Temperate and polar.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  An infaunal species on Zostera beds and sandy substrate (Ref. 95819). In the Vainameri, north-eastern Baltic Sea, inhabits gravel, medium sand but mainly fine sand substrate (Ref. 95753). A predatory, carnivorous species (Refs. 95752, 96470) and a surface detritivore (Ref. 96470).
