Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 0 - 10 m
Distribution:  Indo-Pacific, Northeast Atlantic and the Mediterranean: Somalia to USA.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  On rocks just above the splash zone (Ref. 343), and in intertidal areas (Ref. 106682). Subtidal (Ref. 106854).
