Distribution:  Western Atlantic.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found on intertidal splash and spray zone (Ref. 97531). It inhabits fissures, crevices, corals, tidepools, jetties, drifting debris, buoys, oil platforms, and ship hulls (Ref. 119318). Members of the order Decapoda are mostly gonochoric. Mating behavior: Precopulatory courtship ritual is common (through olfactory and tactile cues); usually indirect sperm transfer (Ref. 833).
