Distribution:  Northeast Pacific.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Maximum size of 1 cm in shells and 3.3 cm in rock (Ref. 95344). Found along the intertidal zone boring in soft rock and shells, particularly abalone, California mussels, and the turban shell, Astraea, and jingle shell, Pododesmus (Ref. 95344)..
