Environment:  others; marine; depth range 0 - 17 m
Distribution:  Indo-Pacific, Atlantic Ocean and the Antarctic. Tropical to polar.
Diagnosis:  Wing: 12.45 cm.
Biology:  Total Length: 20 to 25 cm; Wingspan: 33 to 38 cm (Ref. 8812). Threats include predation from cats, rats, and also livestock grazing and trampling (Ref. 84934). Pursuit diving (Ref. 356).
