Distribution:  Northwest Pacific: Japan, South Korea, China, Taiwan and Hong Kong.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  This species occurs mainly on the shell of Batillaria multiformis on sandy and muddy sedimentary shores at mid-intertidal level on rocks, but can also be found on the shell of B. cumingii, on boulders and empty shells (Refs. 7989, 75835) (Ref. 7989).
