Environment:  pelagic; marine
Distribution:  Northeast Atlantic, Mediterranean and Black Sea.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  This species display diel vertical migrations and are concentrated in the upper water at night (Ref. 96408). Mean latitude of occurrence = 47.5 (N); No known presence in China (Ref. 125708).
