Found in subtropical and tropical forests; also in coastlines of sand, shingle or pebble shores. Occurs on the upper shore-line; also occurs below low-water level in mangrove swamps, under stones or matted algae. On land it occurs in moist earth under stones on hillsides (Ref. 7800). |
