Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabit coastal, brackish, and freshwaters of the tropical and subtropical Indo-Pacific (Ref. 1394); found mostly in shallow, brackish, turbid waters at the mouth of rivers in the southeastern Asia and Australasia (Ref. 1522). Feeds on fishes, cephalopods and crustaceans (Ref. 1394). Inhabit coastal, brackish, and freshwaters of the tropical and subtropical Indo-Pacific.
