Colonies have sturdy bases and thick tree-like upright tapering branches. Corallites are widely spaced on basal parts, becoming more compact towards the branch tips. Tan or yellowish brown in color. |
Zooxanthellate (Ref. 116012). Found in protected shallow environments, especially in turbid water (Ref. 847). |
