Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 0 - 100 m
Distribution:  Atlantic Ocean: from south of Davis Strait to Sao Paulo Brazil, and east to Cape Verde.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Maximum depth from Ref. 83938. This is a benthic species found in coral reefs, rubble and sandy bottoms in intertidal and subtidal areas (Ref. 83938).
