Distribution:  Indo-Pacific.
Diagnosis:  Culmen: 1.86 cm; tarsus: 3.03 cm; wing: 11.0 cm.
Biology:  Total Length: 24 to 25 cm; Wingspan: 56 cm (Ref. 8812). Forages alone or with conspecifics, and typically forages at night. Feeds by dipping prey from the ocean’s surface on the wing, often pattering the water with feet. Diet consists of fish, squid, coelenterates, crustaceans and insects (Ref. 122680).
