Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Circum-arctic (Ref. 19); Fall into one of the three patterns of distribution which can be recognised for species with abundant occurrences in deeper water of the boreal zones (Ref. 12). Ecology: coastal to slope (Ref. 19). Development site of larval association: carried by the parent until sub-adult (Ref. 209). Coastal to slope (Ref. 19). Found at depths of 12 to 1444 m (Ref. 119523).
