Environment:  benthic; marine
Distribution:  Pacific Ocean and Northwest Atlantic: Alaska, Canada, USA. Subtropical to boreal.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found along the intertidal to shallow subtidal zone, on rocks and in crevices (Ref. 95344).
