Distribution:  Western Atlantic.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  This species is found on offshore coral reefs and mangroves, particularly on algae, coral, octocoral, rock, sand and tunicate habitats (Ref. 83934). On offshore banks (Ref. 109264).
