Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 15 - 1200 m
Distribution:  Northeast Atlantic: European coasts from UK, Norway and the Baltic Sea to the Bay of Biscay. Temperate to polar.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs at depths between 50 to 200 m, in areas of silt to very fine sand (Ref. 96391). Epibenthic species found on reefs (Ref. 95730).
