Environment:	pelagic; marine; depth range 0 - 800 m
Distribution:	Atlantic and Pacific.
Diagnosis:	2.8 cm wide. Exumbrella smooth; gonads almost coalescent in the interradii, separated by narrow spaces in the perradii; tentacular pedalia longer but less prominent than the rhopalar; colour dark yellowish brown or almost black.
Biology:	Minimum depth from Ref. 116114. Pelagic in deep water (Ref. 19).
