Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 0 - 1900 m
Distribution:  Arctic and Mediterranean: Canada and Spain. Subtropical to polar.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Maximum depth range from Ref. 98612. Maximum length for females from Ref. 80197. Deep-sea benthic species (Ref. 108800). Found from the middle to lower slope at depths up to 1900 m (Ref. 98612). Observed to scavenge on baited jellyfish carcasses of Periphylla periphylla and Cyanea capillata (Ref. 108800). Another isotope data (δ15N=6.93,, n=1, Ref. 106518).
