Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: Red Sea, South Africa; to Japan, towards Australia and New Caledonia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Maximum depth from Ref. 132434. Subtidal, to depths reaching 100 meters. On subtrates varying from sandy, muddy, to shelly. Also found on coral and rocky reefs (Ref. 132434).
