Max. size:  5 cm WD (male/unsexed)
Environment:  sessile; marine; depth range 0 - 20 m
Distribution:  Pacific Ocean and Northeast Atlantic.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Size refers to column diameter (Ref. 865). This is an attached species (Ref. 3123), found on mussels, rocks and other biogenic substrates. It expels acontia when disturbed (Ref. 87801). Solitary (Ref. 2377).
