Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: from Gulf of Aden to the Malay Archipelago.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Minimum depth from Ref. 99823. Juveniles are reported to occupy far inshore waters (Ref. 121464). On muddy or sandy substrates (Ref. 99823).
