Max. size:  20 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 250 - 750 m
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  It has lengths up to 20 cm, total body length; 15 and 18 cm, common length; 4.5 to 6 cm, carapace length (Ref. 4). Occurs at a depths of 250 to 750 m, but mostly between 300 and 450 m. Found on hard muddy substrates and possibly lives in burrows (Ref. 4).
