Diagnosis:   
Biology:  This species is found in offshore areas with high salinity, especially in coral reefs, drift, estuaries, mangroves and reef lagoons, particularly on algae, pilings, coral, mud, octocoral, rock, rubble, sand, seagrass, shell, and sponge habitats (Ref. 83934).
