Distribution:  Entire tropical Indo-West Pacific, except Arabian Gulf, Pakistan and West India.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs at depths from 0 to 60 m in sandy intertidal and seagrass areas. Feeds by non-selective deposit feeding (Ref. 824).
