Distribution:	Southwest Atlantic: From Colombia to Brazil south to Argentina.
Diagnosis:	12 to 15 cm wide, flatter than a hemisphere, exumbrella with fine granules and minute, sharp-pointed projections; four large velar lappets in each octant; mouth-arms as long as diameter of bell, much folded, the numerous mouths surrounded by minute clubs and nemuerous long filaments; twocentripetal vessels between adjacent radial canals.
Biology:	Abundant in coastal areas under the influence of estuaries (Ref. 126290).
