Calyx up to 8.5 cm wide and 9 cm high; peduncle about half as long as height of calyx; perradial notches between arms about twice as wide and deep as the interradial; each arm with 150 to 200 tentacles; gonads very broad, with numerous (about 300) separate, sac-like pouches; body transparent with pink gonads and violet tentacles. |
